The steering wheel moves for reach and rake, and the front seats are electrically adjustable, so it's easy to find a comfortable driving position. What's more, the layout of the controls is hard to fault. Only hefty rear pillars let it down, but you do get two (yes, two!) parking cameras to make up for this limited vision.
Nissan Murano 4x4 space & practicality
Nissan has made no attempt to turn the Murano into a seven-seater like the Volvo XC90, despite it being almost as big. However, there's impressive space for five and plenty of places in the cabin for their odds and ends. The 402-litre boot is quite small for the class, although you can fold the rear seats almost flat at the tug of a lever. They fold back up electrically.
Nissan Murano 4x4 equipment
The Murano is offered in a single, lavishly equipped trim. Heated seats, leather upholstery, climate control, a BOSE sound system, satellite-navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a panoramic glass roof are all fitted as standard. All you have to decide is which colour looks best, and whether you want the optional DVD entertainment system to keep the kids quiet.
