Review

Not only is the 2008 stylish inside and out, but it also has plenty of substance to match, thanks to a lengthy standard equipment list (if you go for our recommended Allure trim), a well-finished interior and a range of peppy, economical engines. That said, we still think the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq offer buyers an even better package.

Trim: Active

Active gives you all the basic luxuries, including 16in alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, electric door mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear parking sensors, a 7.0in touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone mirroring and a height-adjustable driver’s seat, while keeping costs down.

Engine: 1.2 PureTech 130

The mid-range 129bhp 1.2 Puretech 130 offers impressive, flexible performance that’s relaxing around town and easy on the motorway. It's also impressively frugal recording 47.3mpg on our True MPG test.
