Review

Not only does the Peugeot 2008 look the part (both inside and out), it's well equipped and has a range of punchy, efficient petrol engines. That said, the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq are better all-rounders, as is the Audi Q2 if you want a premium badge.

Trim: Active Premium

Active trim plus an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heat door mirrors and sat nav. We'd spend a bit extra on Allure or Allure Premium trim, if you can.

Engine: 1.2 PureTech 130

The mid-range 129bhp 1.2 Puretech 130 offers impressive, flexible performance that’s relaxing around town and easy on the motorway. It's also impressively frugal recording 47.3mpg on our True MPG test.
