Review

Not only does the Peugeot 2008 look the part (both inside and out), it's well equipped and has a range of punchy, efficient petrol engines. That said, the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq are better all-rounders, as is the Audi Q2 if you want a premium badge.

GT trim is tempting, adding a 10in touchscreen, wireless phone charging, heated front seats and blindspot monitoring. It's pricey, though.
