Looks the part, has a great interior and is decent to drive. Some rivals are cheaper or can go farther between charges, but the e-208 is still a fine all-rounder.

Worthwhile if you want extra safety tech such as blind spot monitoring, an upgraded emergency brake system that can recognise vulnerable road users at night, as well as a bigger 10in infotainment screen. It’s a bit too pricey, though.
The engineSee full engine specs
The only engine available with the pure electric model, but that’s okay because it’s nippy – 0-62mph takes a sprightly 8.1 seconds – and can officially manage up to 225 miles on a full charge.
