Peugeot 208 1.5 BlueHDi 100 Active 5dr Review
Category: Small car
Section: Version review

The model
Read full reviewOne of the very best small cars, standing out for ride comfort, interior quality and hushed cruising manners. The 1.2 Puretech 100 engine is also punchy and doesn't drink much fuel. It isn't cheap to buy, though, and rivals such as the Ford Fiesta are much more fun to drive.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThis entry-level trim comes with 16in alloy wheels (or steel wheels if you're buying the electric e-208), heated door mirrors, automatic lights, air-con and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Infotainment features include a 7.0in touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, Bluetooth and a DAB radio, while safety features such as automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assistance are also standard.
The engine
See full engine specsHas even more low rev punch than the Puretech 100 petrol for more effortless performance. However, it's more expensive to buy and, well, diesel isn't very fashionable at the moment.
