Review

Stylish, practical and good to drive, the well-equipped Peugeot 3008 is one of the best family SUVs you can buy. Go for the entry-level 1.2 PureTech engine unless you're a company car driver, in which case the Hybrid versions are worth considering.

Trim: GT

You certainly gets lots of kit, but range-topping GT trim is way too pricey for us to recommend. Only available with the most powerful engines in the 3008 range.

Engine: 1.6 Hybrid4 300

Easily the fastest 3008 – 0-62mph takes just 6.1sec. It's seriously pricey to buy, though, so only really makes sense if you're a company car driver and can take advantage of the low CO2 emissions.
