Review

The Peugeot 308 has some frugal engines, but it falls way short of its best rivals to drive and rear space is tight

The GTi not only gets more power, but 19in alloy wheels as standard, a Torsen limited-slip differential on its front axle, red brake calipers and bigger front brake discs. It also gets bespoke bucket seats to keep you in place.
