Peugeot 5008 1.2 PureTech Allure Premium 5dr EAT8 Review

The model
Read full reviewThe Peugeot 5008 is stylish, practical, good to drive and one of our favourite large SUVs. It's relatively affordable to buy and run, especially if you go for the entry-level 1.2-litre Puretech 130 petrol engine. If you need even more space the Kia Sorento is an even better bet.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThis is our favourite trim because it comes with everything that you get on Allure spec plus (for not a lot more money) rear picnic tables, keyless entry, a foldable front passenger seat and rear window blinds.
The engine
See full engine specsYou might be suspicious that the entry-level 129bhp 1.2-litre engine is too small but it’s eager to rev and packs enough punch for most people's performance needs. It takes 9.9sec to get from 0-62mph and with plentiful low-down shove it feels far stronger on the road than those numbers suggest. It's available with a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional slick eight-speed auto.
