The diesel-only engine range means that the Tepee isn’t all that cheap to buy. It does mean that all versions a re very frugal, though; the manual returns a claimed average of 63mpg, while the semi-auto manages almost 69mpg. Resale values are nothing special for the class.
Peugeot BIPPER TEPEE MPV quality & reliability
There's no doubt that this is a car that's built to work hard; has been designed with durability as the first priority. The plastics, for example, are hard and unappealing, but they do feel very solid. There’s also a fair smattering of uncovered, painted metal. Peugeot only has a so-so record in reliability and customer satisfaction surveys.
Peugeot BIPPER TEPEE MPV safety & security
The Bipper Tepee is a bit mean in this area, especially as it’s a car designed for families. It does have two rear ISOFIX child seat mounting points, an immobiliser and front and side airbags as standard, but you can’t even add curtain 'bags as options. Stability control isn’t standard on all versions, either.
