The RCZ is a cut-price alternative to the Audi TT, but it's not that much cheaper. The VW Scirocco is available for less, and the Peugeot badge on the nose means resale values aren't as strong as those of either of its German rivals’. Still, running costs will be more akin to those of a family hatchback than an exotic coupe.
Peugeot RCZ Coupe quality & reliability
The RCZ’s cabin is something Peugeot can rightly be proud of. The dashboard has a lavish soft-touch covering, and all the trim looks and feels expensive. The majority of its controls work with slinky precision, too, but Peugeot’s reliability record is no better than average.
Peugeot RCZ Coupe safety & security
A stability control system is on hand to help keep you out of trouble, and there are front and side airbags in case the worst should happen, although it’s disappointing that Peugeot doesn’t fit window-level curtain ’bags. An immobiliser, an alarm and deadlocks are all included to discourage thieves.
