Review
The Renault Kadjar is a great all-rounder that easily takes on the rest of the family SUV class. The Nissan Qashqai still pips it in a few areas, such as ride quality and interior finish, but the Kadjar fights back with cheaper running costs and much better reliability. We recommend sticking with the entry-level petrol, and going for Iconic trim for a good balance of power and tech at a reasonable price.
get the best priceTrim: GT Line
Range-topping GT Line trim adds heated front seats, BOSE seven-speaker sound system, emergency brake assist, blind spot warning system and puddle lamps.
Engine: 1.5 Blue dCi
The 113bhp 1.5-litre diesel isn’t particularly quick, but delivers its power smoothly and is gutsy enough from low revs, meaning you rarely have to rev it hard.
