The same kit list as the regular car, but with stiffer suspension and a limited-slip differential for added traction out of corners. We reckon it’s the sweet spot of the range, but we would still recommend paying extra for metallic paint and the Safety Pack Premium.
There’s only one engine: a 1.8-litre turbo petrol that pumps out 276bhp. The 0-60mph sprint is achieved in a very respectable 5.9sec, although the Honda Civic Type R and VW Golf R are even quicker. Comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but there’s an optional auto (EDC) 'box if you prefer.
