Review

The Renault Megane is well equipped and there are clear benefits to be had from owning a plug-in hybrid as a company car, but for similar money you have a choice of other rivals that are more practical, nicer inside and better to drive.

The entry-level Iconic trim is well-equipped, with a 7.0in infotainment touchscreen that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, driver's seat lumbar and seat-height adjustment, full LED headlights, lane-departure warning, cruise control and other welcome features. However, we'd recommend upgrading to R.S. Line for the AEB safety system it adds.
