The Renault Symbioz undercuts Nissan Qashqai on price and has an efficient hybrid engine, but it's left down by its noisy driving manners, budget-feeling interior and disappointing safety score. In short, there are far better alternatives. If you do buy a Symbioz, we recommend going for the entry-level mild-hybrid version.
The trim
Techno Esprit Alpine is the mid-range trim and adds adds 19in alloy wheels and swisher interior trim, plus lane-centering assistance for the adaptive cruise control, a powered tailgate, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
