The Renault Zoe is great value, fairly practical and has a long range between charges. Its flawed driving position and less comfortable ride make the Peugeot e-208 a better buy, though – assuming you can live with the e-208's slightly shorter range.get the best price

Top-spec GT Line comes only with the R135 motor, but brings a larger 9.3in touchscreen infotainment screen with sat-nav. Other additions include synthetic leather and recycled cloth upholstery, a reversing camera and blindspot monitoring. Automatic emergency braking is also standard fit. It’s pricey, though.
