Review

Long verdict – Stylish, practical and good value – a fine estate. Go for the 1.5 TSI 130 in SE Technology trim for the best value, or the 1.5 TSI 150 in FR trim for a load-lugger with fun driving manners.

On top of regular Xcellence’s toys, you get 18in alloy wheels, leather seats, an electric tailgate with gesture control and adaptive cruise control. Well equipped but rather pricey.

We haven’t tried this engine in the Leon, but we’ll let you know what it’s like as soon as we can.
