The Seat Leon is a good all-rounder if you're looking for a competitively priced family car. Just be aware there are better alternatives available, such as the Ford Focus, Skoda Octavia and VW Golf, which are better in key areas, like ride quality and practicality.get the best price
We don't recommend you spend this much on a Leon, but if you do you'll add power-folding door mirrors, LED headlights, ambient interior lighting, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, heated front seats and a rear-view camera.
Engine: 1.5 TSI EVO
If you're always going to be carrying a full boot you may decide on more power, in which case try the 128bhp 1.5-litre engine. It offers plenty pace and drops the 0-62mph sprint down to 9.4sec, but crucially has more guts to pull a fully loaded car than the 1.0 TSI 115. It's a reasonably smooth four-cylinder, too, and we managed an easy 45mpg during a motorway run.
