Based on SE spec, Monte Carlo adds black 16in alloy wheels, a black grille and door mirrors, body-coloured rear spoiler, front foglights, LED daytime running lights, Monte Carlo badging and a panoramic glass sunroof. On the inside, additional equipment includes front sports seats, a red centre console, a multi-function sports steering wheel and Monte Carlo badging on the front door inserts. Unless you really love the looks, we’d stick to SE.
Engine:1.4 TDI 105
This offers more pulling power than the TDI 90 and makes the Fabia Estate quite a bit faster, particularly when loaded up. It’s also one of the most economical engines in the range. However, it’s not the cleanest, so there are few penalties on top of its additional cost. Not available with an automatic gearbox.
