This entry-level trim looks good value, with a 6.5in touchscreen, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, tyre pressure monitoring and Bluetooth all standard. However, it misses out on some kit most people would consider the norm these days, such as air conditioning, a DAB radio and alloy wheels, so we think it’s worth stepping up to SE.

This petrol engine is lively enough around town but struggles anywhere else. Only available with a five-speed manual gearbox.
