The Skoda Fabia is a fine small car and incredible value for money if you choose carefully. We reckon the 1.0 TSI 95 in SE trim makes the most sense.

Trim: Monte Carlo

Upgrades to Monte Carlo spec are purely cosmetic, but it costs quite a bit more. This is by far the sportiest-looking Fabia, but doesn't have any more power.

Engine: 1.0 TSI

You're better off spending a bit extra on this turbocharged petrol engine over the entry-level 1.0 MPI. It has load more low-rev pull, so is better suited to B-roads and motorways, and generally just makes for a more relaxed driving experience.
