Skoda Karoq 2.0 TDI Sport Line 5dr Review

The model
Read full reviewThe Skoda Karoq is a top-drawer family SUV with clever seating options, a big boot and plenty of space inside for passengers. It’s also a pleasure to drive, thanks to its comfortable ride (as long as you avoid the 19in alloy wheels) and great visibility – and it has a well made interior. If you’re after something sportier then have a look at the Seat Ateca, but the Karoq is the best all-round family SUV in its price bracket.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentYou get 19in wheels, sportier-loooking front and rear bumpers, sports seats, metallic paint, an electric tailgate and a panoramic roof. It’s too expensive to recommend unless you’re hopelessly in love with the sportier looks.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 2.0-litre diesel combines strong performance with decent fuel economy, especially if you avoid four-wheel drive. Just remember that it’s a fair bit more expensive than our favourite 1.5-litre petrol engine, so you’ll have to do plenty of miles to recoup the cost. Available as a manual or automatic, and you can also have it with four-wheel drive.
