The Legacy's cabin is a dour place to be and not too comfortable either. Part of the problem is a lack of adjustability. The seat only has a tilting base, rather than full height adjustment, and the steering wheel only adjusts for height and not reach. At least dials and major controls are clear and there's some place for knick-knacks.
Subaru Legacy Saloon space & practicality
There's a spacious and comfortable interior, with enough accommodation to carry three adults across the rear bench, without them scraping knees or heads. Up front, even the tallest drivers should fit in fine. The boot is an acceptable size, too.
Subaru Legacy Saloon equipment
With some superminis now getting standard air-conditioning it seems a bit steep that the Legacy does not have it as standard. All-round electric windows are standard though. So is remote central locking, a CD player and a good safety spec. The Luxury model has leather upholstery.
