All Grand Vitaras come with Suzuki’s three-year, 60,000-mile warranty and three years of breakdown cover. Running costs are fairly low except for the V6s, which manage only mid-20s mpg on the combined fuel cycle. Resale values are modest compared with the best in class; you can expect to recoup around 45% of your original outlay on some versions. About to be replaced.
Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4 quality & reliability
The Grand Vitara is the best-built Suzuki model available. There is <\n>a rugged separate chassis for real <\n>off-roading, while the cabin is well put together and should not suffer much from rattles or creaks. Trim materials do look a bit cheap, however. Engines and transmissions have proved tough and reliable.
Suzuki Grand Vitara 4x4 safety & security
All models now come with anti-lock brakes and a driver and passenger airbag. Side or curtain airbags and traction control are not on offer, although all have four-wheel drive. In our security tests, our testers broke into a V6 in just two seconds, although they could not drive it away.
