We’d recommend opting for SZ-T trim, because it gets an integrated sat-nav and media system, as well as 17in alloy wheels and rear privacy glass. These upgrades help to make the Vitara look and feel a lot more upmarket.
The naturally aspirated petrol is smooth and economical. It’s eager, too, and provides decent performance. It doesn’t offer as much mid-range pulling power as some rivals’ smaller turbo engines, though, and certainly makes itself heard.
