Owner’s view: “My car’s reliability gives me confidence in the brand.”

Used Tesla Model Y reliability: the owners' view
Despite our good showing in our reliability survey, reliability seems to be a contentious issue with Model Y owners. There have been numerous reports of minor electronic glitches and occasional hardware malfunctions, such as faulty sensors and erratic infotainment systems.
Despite these concerns, some owners expressed satisfaction with their vehicles' overall reliability, particularly highlighting the obvious lack of traditional engine problems.
When it comes to dealer service, opinions were split. Positive reviews praised Tesla's mobile service units' convenience and efficiency, highlighting the ease of scheduling and the technicians' professionalism. However, other owners reported frustrations with delayed service appointments and a lack of communication from dealerships, leading to a mixed overall picture.
In summary, while the Tesla Model Y shows promise in terms of innovation and reduced traditional mechanical issues, there is room for improvement in electronic reliability and consistency in dealer service.
