There are no great complaints about the car’s running costs, with insurance and servicing on a par with its rivals’. However, the bulk of the Tourer range comes in relatively high trims, making them quite dear to buy, which is not good when its residuals are only on a par with a Ford Mondeo’s. Economy is competitive across the range, but the best model for company drivers is the 2.0-litre diesel, which nudges 50mpg and emits less than 150g/km of CO2.
