Review

In hybrid form, the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports is a unique and rather convincing proposition in the estate car category, offering exceptionally low running costs, great residual values and plenty of standard equipment. Okay, its boot isn’t quite as large as those found in conventional rivals, but it’s not far off. In short, for buyers looking for an alternative to diesel, the Touring Sports is well worth a look.

We’d recommend avoiding off-road inspired Trek as it's pretty pricey, even if the electric tailgate and keyless entry that are standard are handy. It's also worth noting the Trek is not designed for serious off-roading, even if it does get an 20mm of ride height.
