The model
Read full reviewIncredible versatility thanks to its seating for up to nine people and a fine option if space is your absolute priority, but don’t expect the van-based Toyota Proace Verso to drive as well as smaller MPVs, or look as nice inside.
The trim
See full equipmentWhile moving as many people as possible for a reasonable price is this trim’s main aim (you get nine seats as standard) you do get a few luxuries. They include climate control, a 7.0in touchscreen with sat-nav and a DAB radio, auto lights and wipers, electric windows, an automatically dimming rear-view mirror and front foglights. Available in Medium and Long lengths.
The engine
See full engine specsOur pick of the line-up. It has more low-end power than the 1.5D, meaning it doesn’t need working as hard to get up to speed. It’s also cheaper than the 2.0D 180. Only available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
