Read full reviewThe Vauxhall Grandland X is competitively priced in most trim levels, and is well equipped and spacious enough for most families. See full engine specsYou might expect this petrol engine to feel underpowered given its small capacity but, in reality, it is perfectly adequate. It also averages more than 50mpg in official fuel economy tests, no matter which wheels, tyres and gearbox you choose. A 1.0-litre Skoda Karoq or Seat Ateca is punchier, let alone a 1.5, however.
