The Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer is well equipped and can be cheap to buy, but it’s not quite as spacious, refined or efficient as its rivalsget the best price
Design trim kicks off the Insignia range, yet it still gets a decent amount of kit. This includes auto lights, keyless start, electric front and rear windows, air-con, cruise control, a 7.0in touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a multi-function steering wheel.
Performance is brisk but emissions are disappointing when compared with similarly potent rivals. Unless you’re towing or want the soft-roader Country Tourer version (in which case it is your best option), we’d avoid it.
