Spacious for seven but it’s pricey and rivals are more comfortable

Entry-level SE models get separate air-con systems for the front and rear, sliding and removable rear seats, a 5.0in touchscreen infotainment system and alloy wheels. We’d stick to this trim and buy a couple of choice options.
Engine: 2.0 TDI BlueMotion Tech 150
It may not be the most powerful engine, but it has plenty of low-end shove, gets up to motorway speeds in a reasonable amount of time and is even pretty refined. The icing on the cake is that it isn’t too expensive to buy and is the cheapest option to run. Comes with a seven-speed auto gearbox.
