One of the very best small SUVs. Should be cheaper, thoughread the full model review
This is the top-rung Tiguan that adds a sporty flavour to the exterior and interior. Over and above SEL, you get 20in alloys, R-line-specific bodystyling, heated front seats, aluminium-look dash inserts and sports suspension. Although the looks might appeal, you pay an awful lot for them.
Engine:2.0 TDi 150
This is the best engine in the Tiguan range. It’s affordable, offers a decent amount of punch and fuel economy is reasonable. CO2 emissions are acceptable, too, making this the most sensible choice for company car drivers. An auto ’box and four-wheel drive are optional.
