The Volvo V60 edges ahead of similarly-priced premium rivals thanks to its generally comfy ride, secure handling and great interior quality. And did we mention it’s blooming roomy? That's key to an estate's appeal and it's bigger on the inside than rivals such as the Audi A4 Avant. It's a great all-rounder.get the best price
The trimSee full equipment
Over and above Momentum trim the Cross Country adds off-road styling, a 65mm raised ride height, hill descent control, standard four-wheel drive, full leather seat trim, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, wood trim, keyless entry, a gesture-controlled tailgate and ambient interior lighting.
The engineSee full engine specs
This has 194bhp but it's also torquey engine, so it’s able to pull a trailer without too much effort. It doesn’t feel quite as nippy as the equivalent Audi A4 Avant 40 TDI or Mercedes C220d Estate, even though its claimed 0-62mph time (7.9sec) is competitive. It’s still a good option, though, because it's RDE2 compliant and officially averages up to 50mpg. It's available with front- or four-wheel drive, the latter is standard in the V60 Cross Country.
