Review

The Volvo XC60 is not the best large SUV to drive but, being classy inside, roomy and well equipped, it's still a strong option. Moving up the trim list can make the price less appealing, though.

Trim: Inscription

Range-topping Inscription trim does bring an even more upmarket interior and fully electric seats. However, it pushes the XC60’s price into the realm of altogether bigger and better cars, such as the Land Rover Discovery and Volvo’s own flagship XC90.

Engine: 2.0 T5 [250]

If you’re dead against a diesel, this 247bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol is your only pure-petrol option. It's pretty quick in a straight line, but also more expensive to run.
