Review

The Volvo XC90 is a fine luxury SUV that combines a high quality, spacious and versatile interior with plenty of kit and top-notch safety credentials. The Audi Q7 is still a better overall package, though, and don't rule out the Land Rover Defender if you're happy with something slightly more rugged.

Adds larger 20in alloy wheels and various sporty design touches over Momentum trim. However, unless you really love the looks, R-Design doesn’t really make much financial sense. We’d stick with Momentum.

This four-cylinder diesel engine is our pick of the range. It provides decent performance coupled with sensible fuel economy. Company car buyers might want to consider the T8 hybrid instead for its lower CO2 emissions, but the majority of buyers will find the diesel spot on.
