Used Renault Scenic 2024-present reliability

As of yet, there aren't any major issues to report about the Renault Scenic, so just look out for the usual culprits, such as bodywork damage and kerbed alloy wheels. Check the interior for signs of wear and tear as well, along with the electronics for any bugs or glitches.

Reason for recall

For certain vehicles, a concern involving the electric traction reducer parking brake mechanism actuator or gearbox engagement actuator within the gearbox may result in the parking brake mechanism actuator no longer correctly positioning the locking pawl in the lock.

How the manufacturer will repair: Replacement of the electric traction reducer parking brake mechanism actuator or gearbox engagement actuator.

The Scenic is a reliable car, according to the What Car? Reliability Survey. It finished in second place out of 27 electric SUVs, with an impressive score of 97.5%. That places it one spot below the Kia EV3, but above the Kia EV6, Skoda Enyaq and Tesla Model Y.

As a brand, Renault finished in 20th place out of 30 manufacturers. That places it below Kia, Skoda and Tesla, but above MG and Volkswagen.
