Used MG ZS EV 2019-present reliability
Category: Electric car
The MG ZS EV is a practical and well-equipped used option that's less expensive than most electric SUVs
What should I look for in a used MG ZS EV hatchback?
Unlike many competitor EVs, MG provides the full array of cables (including a slow-charge, three-pin lead) with every ZS EV. Make sure they are all supplied with the car because they can be quite expensive to replace.
Other than that, you should do all the regular used car checks, such as seeing whether there's any damage to the bumpers and bodywork, examining the alloy wheels for extensive kerb damage, and making sure the interior hasn't been trashed by family life.
What are the most common problems with a used MG ZS EV hatchback?
There haven't been any recalls so far for the ZS EV, but we'll update this section if any are announced.
Is a used MG ZS EV hatchback reliable?
In our latest What Car? Reliability Survey, the ZS EV managed an impressive second place finish out of eight cars in the electric car category. MG, as a brand, didn't disappoint either. It ranked 10th out of 30 manufacturers.
