What's the star of show?
A face-lifted version of the Getz, which is Hyundai's best-selling car in Europe. The new model has a more rounded grille, wrap-around headlights and a slightly revised rear bumper.

There will be three petrol engines available in the new Getz: a 65bhp 1.1, a 96bhp 1.4 and a 105bhp 1.6-litre. Two 1.5-litre diesel engines will be on offer, producing either 87bhp or 108bhp.

All models will come with front and side airbags as well as electronic stability control.

Anything else?
The Accent SR Concept has its first public viewing. The concept car is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine.

They say
'Although the Accent SR is not scheduled for mass production, various elements will certainly find their way into the forthcoming Accent model.'

We say
The Accent SR provides styling cues for the next generation Accent, and indicates ambitions for a sporty future for Hyundai's image.
