Volkswagen has launched a Match version of the Polo supermini, with more kit and a lower price than the Moda and SE trims it replaces.
The Match combines the standard kit from Moda and SE cars – which VW says is worth £650 – for £215 less than the trims it replaces.
Standard equipment for the Match includes 15-inch alloys, front foglights and tinted rear windows. There’s also air-conditioning, a multi-device interface (MDI) with MP3-player connectivity, remote central locking and electrically adjustable door mirrors
There's a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel, each available with either three- or five door versions. The 1.4-litre is also available with Volkswagen’s DSG semi-auto twin-clutch transmission.
VW is offering a year's free insurance and three-year (or 30,000-mile) free servicing for Polo Match buyers who buy through Volkswagen’s Solutions PCP finance package.
The Polo Match is available now.
