    My car

This car is pants on fuel - goodness knows where they got their figures from on mpg, or mine is faulty!

I am getting arond 300 miles to the tank which is 35 litres. The brakes are fierce and take some getting used to.

It's basic so you get what you pay for. There's more room inside that you first think. Would cost me another £2000+ to get the same spec etc with other cars of simular size, so if you're not a badge snob and you want a run around with little fuss you won't go too far wrong, but dont expect to be racing up the motorways with you friends as you'll be left at the start whilst there at the finish, however this does make it a safer car!

    My car

I have been given a Kia Picanto 1.0 Litre Engine as a company car and, to be fair, as we have a big problem with parking car-spaces it's good.

However it has a rather very harsh drive, un-comfortable seats and very akward position.

Compared to my Toyota Vitz (Imported 2nd Hand from Japan) and my UK-built Toyota Corolla Colour Collection, it's very far behind.

More than that the engine is very noisy.

Other then that its a very pratical car and fits in very tight spaces, plus it has a very easy and lightweight power steering.

A perfect car for always-on-the-go runabouts like me and green drivers.

    My car

I have owned my little Kia for 4 months and what a lovely little car it is. I bought it at 6 months old from the main dealers with only 3800 miles on the clock for only £4700. How great is that?

It is our second car and I use it only to do the school run and 7 miles to work and back. However it is used on the motorway almost daily as well.

The purchase price of even brand new models is fantastic value for the consumer. This cannot be faulted. I have not used to warranty yet but I did get 2 and a half years with the car.

The cabin is adequate with CD player and electric front windows. I have the basic model so no aircon but I find that does not bother me too much at all even though I am used to a more expensive saloon car as our main family car I still find I am very comfortable in my little Kia.

The only downsides are the lack on my model of remote central locking. It is central locking but you have to use the key to open the drivers side first. I find this small thing a daily annoyance. Also I must disagree with previous reviews regarding fuel ecomony on this car. I actually find it very bad for such a small car. I am used to big 2L cars and although diesel they seem to give better fuel ecomony that my little 1L kia.

Overall though I am delighted with my car. I would certainly think about replacing it with another Picanto in the future. It is fabulous.

    My car

Now had my Picanto 3 years,I've done 51,000 miles and it's been very reliable, nothing extra to pay for, even got original brake pads whether it's because of ABS or my driving I'm not sure.Nippy on the motorway but noisey above 70mph.Could do with a bigger boot but with rear seats folded down it's got loads of space.Only gripe is harsh ride compared to my old Xantia, but 45mpg also compares to diesel Xantia.I keep the air conditioning on all the year round, I love it. Been looking to replace it recently, maybe Citroen Berlingo or C3 but reports put me off them so looks like I'll be keeping it for a few more years.
