Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY this car! Looks good and great to drive, but what a disaster when it comes down to service and maintenance. Numerous Fuel System failures makes it one of the most expensive car to maintain.
As for the service delivered by Renault, good luck, it's as badly reliable as their car. Even the Renault approved dealers are somehow lacking in the customer service department. So if you can, don't go for it.
In its day, it was a great spec of car for the money. But today, better models exist from other manufacturers.
Its build quality isn't great - the roof does not fit correctly and adds to interior noise. The gearbox is clunky, and the mass of plastic dash and dials makes you feel like you're in a plastics factory.
Running costs aren't too bad, but I did have some major electrical problems with the car.
Boot and rear-seat space are very, very limiting - but then it is a cabrio, so what do you expect?
In the end, and with dealership issues as well, I sold the car and moved away from Renault.

Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
