USED Vauxhall Astra Convertible (98 - 12)

I've recently purchased a second hand 2.2l Conv, Linea Rossa and I've got to say it is one of the best cars I have driven. Mine has the full body kit, 17inch Alloys, Crusie Control, Traction, Heated Leather Seats, 4-CD Changer, trip computer, everything you could ever want!

Being a former Car salesman, I judge every car that I drive, out of habit. I've read the reports on the Astra and the only negative is the interior if you're looking at buying one, try to find a Linea Rossa, the colour coded interior and aluminium trimings go a long way to liven up the cabin.

If I was to make one criticism, it would be the standard tyres. I feel they tend to lose grip easily in the wet. The remote hood is not very reliable either. It gets a bit dodgy when you try to operate it from any distance.

I've driven hundreds of cars, this may not be the fastest or the best handling but I can't think of any cars that does what this car does for the price.

If you want a decent Convertible that does everything you need, BUY THIS CAR!

My advice would be to avoid the 1.6 and never buy new.
