Citroen has launched a new website enabling owners to search for recall notices against their vehicles.

Registration to the service is free and lasts for one year – after which a reminder is sent.

Entering a car's VIN number brings up any recall notices, and the best way to go about getting the work done.

Those who register will be contacted directly on a quarterly basis regarding any recalls they need to be made aware of.

One-off car searches are also possible for those not wishing to give over their details.
