JD Power Survey 2007 - Winners

11 May 2007
There are two winners this year. The 2006 winner, the Lexus IS, is top dog again, but this time it shares honours with the Toyota Prius.

This is a real triumph for the petrol-electric Prius – a car that has been regarded by some as a niche product. That thinking has changed. Now the Prius is in the mainstream and it has proved it has the quality to go with its environmental credentials.

The car makers...

Lexus repeats its 2006 result. Why? Owners get a comfy car they can rely on, plus quality service at the dealers.

Like it did in 2006, Honda comes second. It's no real surprise: Honda makes user-friendly, reliable cars.

2= Skoda

They may not have the prestige of VW, but Skodas are solid, good-value cars that give their owners few headaches.
