Subaru revealed a design concept car for a new generation of crossover vehicle at Shanghai. The XV Concept has been designed for customers seeking a vehicle offering good looks with traditional SUV practicality.

A panoramic roof of continuous glass extends from the front windscreen all the way to the rear, filing the cabin with light. The paintwork is called electro yellowgreen and certainly makes the car hard to miss.

Subaru’s designers have gone to town on the interior. A special white leather has been used as the base material for the seats, contrasting with the darker tones used elsewhere. Yellowgreen piping matches the exterior paintwork.

There is a large touch-panel multi-information display, giving the driver instant access to the navigation and audio systems as well as directly displaying vehicle information. Subaru’s advanced driver support system, EyeSight, features, with an LCD monitor positioned between two combination meters to allow the driver to check the images captured with the car’s on-board cameras.
