This little diesel has been a brilliant commuter workhorse.
It’s a mk1 1527 d Mardi gras. The suspension is a little on the soft side but the road holding and ability to soak up bumps and imperfections is good. The engine is a little agricultural but it’s more powerful and economical than the 1.1cc version and I can’t see one of them lasting 200,000+ miles.
The one major criticism is the foot-well: the pedals are far too close to each other. But I’ve found I’ve adjusted my driving to suit and the actual driving seat is nice and supportive. Also, the controls are arranged in an logical position.
My car's done just under 70,000 miles and still going strong. I’ll update this review around the 90,000 mile mark. I hope this review is of some use.

I own this brillant car. I have put a full body kit and alloys on it. It's definitely the best car I have owned. I've had the engine done up and it's rapid!! What a brillant car!!
I have had this car for just over six months now and I love it.
It is really nippy and handles the road beautifully. The interior is comfortable and the electric windows and central locking make it really practible. It fits into nice small spaces at car parks and down narrow roads. I wouldn't say the cabin was huge, but I find it quite spacious for a small car and the boot is a fair size and practical.
