Infiniti was to Nissan what Lexus is to Toyota: the premium arm of a mainstream car maker.

Despite launching a range of models, including the Q30 hatchback, QX30 small SUV, Q50 executive saloon and Q60 coupé, it failed to make an impact among British buyers, and ceased operations here in 2020.

Its cars went head to head with cars from the likes of Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, but even though they typically featured a long list of standard equipment, purchase prices were high.
