The Edge has always been an interesting proposition in a marketplace littered with cookie-cutter SUVs, and the ST-Line is without doubt the most convincing variant yet. Not only is it more attractive than the standard car (although that's subjective, we know), but it also handles better, rides more consistently and comes with essential standard kit that’s optional on the base car.

However, that simply won’t be enough for buyers who are looking for a premium badge, seven seats or class-leading driving dynamics. For that reason, it seems the Edge is destined to remain as an attractive leftfield choice rather than a key player in this ultra-competitive class.
