The Audi Q5 Sportback is good to drive and maintains enough practicality for many buyers. It’s roomier in the rear seats than a BMW X4 but you do have to pay a premium over the regular Q5 to get one. The punchy and refined TDI engine is the one to go for.
The trim
The most popular trim level, mainly because of its bigger (20in) alloys and sportier bodykit, but it also adds sliding rear seats, tinted rear windows and is the cheapest trim available with air suspension.
The engine
We haven’t tried this 201bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine yet, but for most buyers it probably isn’t worth the extra outlay over the TFSI petrol.
